The Role

 

The HR Specialist works closely with the HR Manager / HR Advisor and provides a wide range of HR support. This includes handling of payroll and social security topics in cooperation with external partners, coordinating the benefits administration, involvement in the on-/ offboarding process, day-to-day administrative tasks and various HR projects

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Preparing our local payroll and benefits in coordination with external payroll provider
  • Various HR administration including pension, social security, accident/illness insurance and benefits
  • Preparation of year-end declarations and verification of shadow payroll
  • First point of contact for local authorities
  • Managing the whole personnel administration from A – Z including on- and offboarding of employees, processing of invoices, managing data by using various systems and portals
  • Work time and absence administration
  • Documentation and optimization of HR processes
  • Participation in projects and general support to HR Manager / HR Advisor

 

Education and Qualifications

 

  • Commercial degree or similar
  • Further education as HR Assistant or Swiss Payroll Specialist in is required


Qualifications

  • An HR professional with a minimum of 5 years related experience, ideally in a multinational company
  • Good knowledge in Swiss labour law
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written in German and English, other language skills are welcome
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), especially in Excel is a must
  • Flexible, adaptable and highly service-oriented with good customer-service orientation and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Highly discreet and well organized with a good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
