Qualification Requirements

Must meet the following: 
•    High school diploma or GED equivalent
•    Ten-plus years of related experience in maintenance and/or construction


Must be able to perform essential job tasks:
•    Communicating effectively (both written and oral) with all levels of the organization as well as with other business stakeholders
•    Demonstrating proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other computer applications


Must be able to meet the following requirements:
•    Able to work in United States without sponsorship
•    Pass a background check to acquire a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
•    Utilize typical personal protective equipment
•    Able to physically access equipment throughout the plant on multiple levels

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:


The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position:
•    Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and be able to work in awkward or confining spaces. 
•    Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision.
•    Must be physically capable of spending long hours standing and occasionally work in chemical-protected clothing and equipment.
•    Ability to climb stairs and ladders (including vertical) and work at elevated heights.
•    Must be able to work in chemical protective clothing and equipment in an outdoor environment.
•    Must be able to work in a potentially hazardous chemical environment.
•    Must be “fit for duty”
