Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Establishing & maintain the Standard Operating Procedures & Conditions
- Ensure the obtained Quality Certification is properly maintained(ISO/IATF)
- Responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of documentation for quality, packaging specifications, and environmental management systems
- Responsible for the implementation & the continuous improvement of the Saflex manufacturing processes, products & services based on customer focused programs
- Support the Saflex operations in resolving technical problems
- Develop programs to continually improve Environmental Safety and health(ESH) performance, Quality, Volume & Cost
- Ensures compliance with production procedures, process specifications & engineering standards
- Manage the Capital plan procedures, approvals & expenditures
- Cooperate with Technology and other Saflex plants to guarantee technical support and sharing best practices
- Manage Product & Process modifications/changes under the Management Of Change process(P & Q # system).
- Develop and execute plans to ensure equipment installations are done properly, that the assets are managed properly, including preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment is in optimal operational condition.
- Responsible to work with the Operations Team Leader to set up guidelines for all plant personnel and provide relevant development for career advancement and succession.
- Manages a team of quality and process engineers in a professional way by providing appropriate leadership & creating a stimulating environment.
- Define, implement and manage cost reduction and improvement programs
- Enhance engineering team’s QESH awareness
Qualifications
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Confident communication in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment to delivering work in quality and time.
- Be able to multi-task and be hands-on in carrying out responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective problem solving skills with customer service mindset and highly aware of the business needs.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills and have an eye for detail.
- Comfortable working with people from multi-cultural backgrounds and varying seniority levels.
