Material Handler Operator

A fully qualified Production Operator is responsible for (but not limited to) rotating through the below responsibilities at the discretion of Leadership.

  • Interface with the CC1 Converting and button stock machines by slitting, cutting, rewrapping and interleaving PVB and laminated roll materials. 
  • Interface with the CP2 Laminating Machine by assembling PET (typically XIR) and PVB interlayers and monitoring the laminating process and relevant conditions.
  • Interface with the PC and ZUND Table controls and winder by assembling die-cut (typically XIR) laminated bi-layers.
  • Interface with CP3 Laminating Machine by assembling PET (clear and XIR) and PVB interlayers, in addition to slitting, cutting, rewrapping and interleaving PET, PVB and laminated roll materials as needed
  • Responsible for documenting and maintaining electronic and hard-copy record keeping.
  • Participates in various support activities as needed



  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • A strong commitment to working safely and to the safety of others.
  • Ability to perform high quality, cost effective work in order to meet customer expectations.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively monitor plant equipment and make adjustments to processes and controls; ability to handle upsets, startups, and shutdowns of plant systems and processes.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision in a self-directed team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Flexibility in approach to tasks and openness to change.
