Responsibilities

 The Social Media Representative is responsible for creating and implementing strategic and creative social media initiatives for the LLumar, SunTek, and Gila brands. This position reports to the Digital Strategy and Marketing Manager, based in St. Louis, MO, and has regular interaction with the Channel Marketing, MarCom, Sales, and Leadership teams in North America and other Regions, with emphasis on North America.

We are looking for someone who understands the auto enthusiast mindset and can develop compelling social media campaigns and tactics to successfully engage them. . You’ve worked with influencers before, and know how to gauge their effectiveness. You’re well-versed in concepts like custom audiences, dark posts, crossposting relationships, and you have opinions about how campaigns in Ads Manager should be named and structured. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•    Manages the social media presence for Eastman Performance Films’ brands across multiple platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, currently.
•    Develops strategies to effectively leverage and increase engagement across all platforms.
•    Leads the efforts to both create and curate compelling content for social channels, providing optimization recommendations based on insights.
•    Develops and maintains a robust social media calendar that leverages seasonal trends, sponsorships, car shows/clubs, events, and influencer opportunities.
•    Directly manages paid social campaigns, including messaging and ad buys, and analyzes performance of those campaigns to continually optimize for efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Provides ongoing social media counsel and support to internal resources who are in positions to gather content, participate in industry forums, or have roles with social media responsibilities in their regions.
•    Develops and maintains relationships with key automotive influencers including YouTubers and Instagram users, as well as automotive forums and car clubs, across multiple categories.
•    Serves as primary contributor in sponsored forums and blogs that help shape and inform the auto industry’s perception of paint protection film and automotive window films, while reinforcing each brand’s differentiated positioning and voice.
•    Monitors social channels and engages with audiences, providing the first direct impression on those who reach out and escalating internally as needed.
•    Listens for mentions of our brands across social media, identifying trends and opportunities.
•    Plays a key role in the development of overall marketing and communication plans.
•    Works with vendors to understand social media management platform functionality, and drives the optimal configuration and adoption of social media management tools.
 

Qualifications

Qualifications
•    Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline from an accredited college or university required. May consider other degrees with significant, directly relevant experience.
•    Minimum 3 years marketing and/or communications experience, with significant experience in managing and optimizing social media platforms.
•    Advanced expertise with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
•    Knowledge of latest social media practices and trends, as well as knowledge of the auto industry and auto aftermarket accessory market.
•    Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key automotive social media audiences, such as influencers, bloggers, or online media.
•    Exemplary writing and content development skills, specifically for social media and forums, while maintaining brand voice.
•    Experience working with graphic design, video production, and photography resources, whether internal or agency.
•    Experience with social media management and listening platforms, such as Sprinklr or Social Studio, is a plus.
•    Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
•    Proven ability to work closely with various partners in Sales, Channel Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Communications to execute a social media strategy as part of a broader marketing strategy.
•    Proven ability to track, analyze, and deliver reports to key stakeholders and leadership on progress and results.
•    Proven ability to keep current with regulatory requirements around social media, and working with Legal counsel accordingly.
•    Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboratively across different functional partners.

Other
•    Based in Performance Films HQ in St. Louis, Missouri. Flexibility to work from other locations may be considered, with periodic travel to St. Louis required.
•    Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
