Our Gila® branded line of window films are designed to be a “Do-It-Yourself” consumer offering which sells through thousands of major retailer stores and online websites, primarily in North America.


This position will report to Senior Creative Manager, based in St. Louis, MO, U.S.A.


This role will create compelling content for a wide array of marketing from print to digital including product launches, sell sheets, web copy, emails, blog posts, and video scripts. The ideal candidate will be able to understand complex technologies and write one way for consumers and another for our dealer base. Candidate would help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content and help drive leads and subscribers using SEO best practices to generate traffic. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience, and an understanding of the automotive market.

Key Responsibilities / Requirements: 
•    Collaborate closely with Senior Creative Manager and Graphic Designers.
•    Technical and Creative writing skills is a must. 
•    Examples of targeted writing to different audiences within and cross channel, B2B and B2C writing included. 
•    Proven record for digital copywriting including, understanding keyword optimization, meta descriptions, and social media parameters.
•    Ability to streamline the revision process and manage version control. 
•    Flexible and open to changes as they arise.
•    Edit content produced by other members of the team.
•    Help build claims database to ensure compliance and consistency across materials.
•    Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time.
•    Translate brand standards or overarching creative concepts and flesh out into all campaign copy.
•    Strong proofing skills to ensure proper standards are met.


Required Skill Sets and Behaviors: 

•    Education:  Bachelor’s in English, Journalism or related field
•    Experience:  Minimum of 3 to 5 years writing for a B2C and B2B audience
•    Robust portfolio of published work in consumer and channel writing
•    Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics
•    Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
•    The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
•    Expert knowledge AP writing standards

This role will be sitting in the St. Louis, MO office and is not a remote position.
