Market Development Manager

Responsible for the execution of strategy for market-facing initiatives to drive and sustain growth in assigned market segments. Develops and executes market segment plans while also monitoring their effectiveness and adjusting when necessary. Serves as an expert on EBME framework and coaches other Market Development Managers. Manages Stage-Gate projects through completion and/or serves as Marketing subject matter expert as needed. Effectively collaborates and communicates with all relevant stakeholders within assigned market segment.

•Identify product application and service opportunities
•Conducts discovery of customer’s unmet needs. Develops potential solution strategies depending on customer/market environment.
•Responsible for determining best path for specific initiatives surfaced from market strategy work, developing the plans for execution, executes the plan (either directly or indirectly) and monitoring its effectiveness
•Support growth process using EBME framework. Launch stage gate projects to develop solutions for customers and fulfill growth needs.
•Launch new products. Train sales and other functions on articulating the value of the product.
•Monitor progress of new launches
•Contributes to the development of Addressable Market Maps and offers through segment cross-functional teams

•Bachelor’s Degree in technical or marketing discipline is required. MBA degree preferred
•5+ years prior experience in sales, product management, marketing or relevant technical roles preferred
•Must have had a customer facing role or other commercial experience prior to this role
