The Demand Planner and Business Analyst is responsible for creating the monthly consensus demand estimates of volume, price and revenue for the North America region and the Global consolidation of all regions and segments. 
Demand Planner and Business Analyst key tasks:
•    Develop monthly consensus demand forecasts (operational forecasts) over a rolling 24-month time horizon (with focus on first 12 months) on multiple levels of aggregation. The outputs from the monthly consensus demand forecast feeds regional and global financial estimates and production planning and supply chain planning. The work includes: 
o    Analysis of historical sales trends and research of demand drivers
o    Statistical forecast models and monitoring forecast accuracy 
o    Analysis and critique of forecast inputs to ensure most realistic and credible output
o    Preparation and distribution of relevant materials to facilitate the discussion, documentation of key planning assumptions during the demand cycle
o    Documentation of assumptions underlying the demand plan and highlight key changes from prior cycles
o    Identification of variability scenarios and the specific drivers 
o    Monitoring monthly demand progression against forecast and communicating/managing deviations.
•    Lead/facilitate monthly regional and global demand reviews focusing on major changes, upside/downs opportunities and/or pending actions, options/choices and forward-looking trends and watch-outs. 
•    Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. Support demand-supply balancing and product allocation process in case of capacity constraints.
•    Develop forward looking “what-if” scenarios and analysis with options and recommendations.
•    Use and maintain demand planning system and software including maintenance of master data and other transactional data to ensure aggregation and disaggregation of the forecast is in alignment with the current product strategy and portfolio as well as Supply Chain model.
•    Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning and execution process.
•    Provide inputs to EMN initiatives on IBP / demand planning processes and represent EPF’s requirements and support implementations of new processes, methodologies or tools.
•    Provide routine and ad-hoc business analytics support to the North America Commercial Team that supports and drives optimal business decisions for growth.
•    Ensures data integrity and quality by reviewing data, identifying unusual occurrences, seeking explanations and assisting in developing correction actions to prevent reoccurrences.
•    Work with analytics teams in other regions to share and learn business analytics best practices.
•    Periodic review/adjust to recalibrate business needs and focus versus status quo.


    Preferred candidate has minimum five (5) years’ experience in planning or supply chain and at least two (2) years in Shopper Insights, Syndicated Data, Demographic, Panel and/or other second/third party data analytics experience.
•    Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in business, finance, mathematics, statistics or engineering (industrial engineering preferred).
•    Experience in developing and utilizing statistical forecasting process.
•    Familiarity with software to develop ad-hoc reports like Tableau, Power BI & Salesforce Einstein and methods to answer demand inquiries.
•    Expert level in the utilization of Microsoft Office products.  
•    Excellent leadership, facilitation as well as written and verbal communication skills, ability to analyze data and financials via multiple sources and summarize data concisely to tell a coherent business story – are mandatory. 
•    SAP and APO operating systems knowledge preferred.
•    Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus.  
•    APICS certification a plus (CPIM or CSCP)
