Role Description

 

Performance Films is seeking a skilled and motivated professional who loves to create and nurture best-in-class web experiences. The Web Content Specialist will ensure the sites for our LLumar, SunTek, and Gila brands present the content our audiences need and want, in effective and engaging ways. This position reports to the Digital Strategy and Marketing Manager and has regular interaction with the Channel Marketing, MarCom, Sales, and Leadership teams in North America, and other Regions, but with emphasis on North America.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains the experience, look, content, and overall effectiveness of the Performance Films brand sites as well as microsites, landing pages, and integrated forms.
  • Brings an eye for effective user experience design, along with practical web content management abilities.
  • Works closely with our graphic designers, channel marketers, and other internal stakeholders to bring to life our brand, product information, and other website content.
  • Ensures our web presence is functional, consistent, efficient, attractive, and meeting the needs and expectations of users.
  • Develops standards for web content development and presentation, being mindful of accessibility and effective user experience.
  • Collaborates with internal creative team to wireframe and mockup new or revamped site pages.
  • Maintains effective information architecture and best practices for SEO and tagging, particularly as new content is added.
  • Owns web requests to meet all deadlines, while improving efficiency and optimizing the process whenever possible.
  • Applies best practices for web analytics into site design, including goal setup and creation of campaign tracking with UTM parameters.
  • Monitors website data for trends, fluctuations, and functionality issues.
  • Proactively scopes and presents new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers.
  • Proposes and executes A/B and multivariate testing, when possible, in the spirit of continuous improvement.
  • Will collaborate with internal and external partners on a future replatforming of our CMS, from requirements gathering through design and implementation.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university required. May consider other degrees with significant, directly relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years marketing and/or communications experience, with emphasis in Digital Marketing
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining successful web experiences for B2B and/or B2C brands.
  • Understanding of both paid and organic search optimization, as well as experience establishing and using campaign tracking to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong working knowledge of effective web content management practices, including content creation, publishing, and performance review.
  • Ability to write effectively for the web, and experience publishing through a content management system.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage outside agency relationships and to provide clear, concise feedback and guidance.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and resourceful.
  • Global website experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with a digital experience platform (DXP) is preferred.
  • Experience with any or all the following specific platforms is preferred: Marketo, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, Unbounce, Google Analytics.

 

Other

  • Based in Performance Films HQ in St. Louis, Missouri.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
