A Project Manager in Eastman's Digital Products organization is responsible for coaching agile teams for the effective and efficient delivery of quality products to our end customers. The Project Manager is responsible for guiding the engineering and product teams through the agile ceremonies and processes, removing impediments, facilitating meetings, and ensuring product requirements are specific and well executed. This role requires an ability to understand complex problems and work with the engineering team to break them down into specific, understandable and measurable work items. The Project Manager also collaborates with the product team on features to ensure best outcomes that align with the needs of the customers and the engineering team.



  • Guides and coaches the team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Works with the engineering and product team leads to build appropriate execution plan for the engineering and product design teams
  • Drive team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement
  • Assist leadership in driving the execution of both the product and technical roadmap
  • Ensure appropriate prioritization of stories in backlog based on product and engineering goals, realistic team commitments and consistent throughput
  • Ability to leverage Product Management experience to ensure appropriate execution and prioritization of the product roadmap
  • Responsible for ensuring Agile principles are understood and the team adheres to the agreed-upon framework for execution
  • Identifies, resolves and surfaces team impediments appropriately
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the broader organization



  • Experience leading teams that implement Agile methodologies is REQUIRED
  • Scrum experience is REQUIRED, Kanban experience is a plus
  • Ability to understand very complex problems and break them down into easily understood, executable work items for engineering and design teams
  • Product management experience in either B2B or B2C scenarios is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge and prior working experience with Azure DevOps/VSTS functionality is desired
  • Self-driven and strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt and guide execution of change through the team due to changing priorities


  • 4-year degree is REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role leading the execution of projects is REQUIRED
  • Project leadership for large, complex, projects is preferred
  • Training and application of project management methodologies including Agile is REQUIRED
