Responsible for proactively directing and managing the site maintenance team, including maintenance spending and participation in site productivity initiatives. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to direct reports and lead daily coordination meetings with planners and the scheduler to review the maintenance schedule and backlog. Support the site mechanical integrity and reliability programs—ensuring inspection findings are closed promptly—and collaborate with the reliability team to improve equipment performance. Increase plant utilization by implementing design improvements when replacing failed equipment, reviewing critical spare parts, and supporting MI inspections and repairs as needed.


•    Ensure 100% compliance with safety, environmental, and health requirements; Participate in TSP program and drive safety improvements.
•    Lead site maintenance execution and support site productivity using Eastman maintenance best practices.
•    Lead, develop, and coach ~10 direct reports; conduct regular one on ones and performance recognition.
•    Hold daily coordination with planners and the scheduler to review the maintenance schedule, backlog, and monthly budget.
•    Support the mechanical integrity (MI) program; ensure inspection findings are tracked and closed on time.
•    Partner with the reliability team to analyze failures, implement corrective actions, and improve MTBF/plant utilization.
•    Ensure reliable on call weekend/night coverage and rotate staff and planning support as required.
•    Serve as primary site interface for principal long term contractors; align staffing to workload and monitor contractor performance.
•    Participate in plant outages and turnarounds; attend planning, kickoff, safety, and turnover meetings and support extended hours per fatigue policy.
•    Lead Daily Cadence meetings (6:00 a.m. start and 4:00 p.m. 15 minute end) to remove barriers and improve execution.
•    Maintain 50–70% field presence to mentor crews, verify work execution, and remove barriers.
•    Oversee the warehouse and drive necessary improvements.

You must be able to: 
•    Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision
•    Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
•    Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE.
•    Climb stairs and ladders

EDUCATION:  
•    Technical degree in a related field or 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

EXPERIENCE:  
•    Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in petrochemical, refinery, or similar process-production facilities.
•    Prefer candidates with demonstrated team leadership/supervisory experience.
