LOCATION: St. Gabriel, LA

•    Experienced with NSR, NSPS, HON, RICE MACT, and RMP regulations
•    Submits Title V deviation and monitoring, hazardous waste generator, solid waste generator, Tier II, TRI, ERIC, GHG, DMR, and Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) reports
•    Champion of environmental program and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, LeakDAS, PI process book, excel spreadsheets, etc.)  
•    Optimizes routine tasks (e.g., inspections, audits, procedures, calculations, trainings, etc.) that are required for Title V and LPDES permit compliance
•    Inspects waste storage areas, wastewater treatment plant, and storage tank secondary containments 
•    Conducts various field projects which may involve studying various production processes, collecting samples, conducting operator surveys, supporting on-site inspections, and equipment monitoring
•    Supports safety programs and initiatives for safe work practices
•    Supports Responsible Care and sustainability initiatives
•    Champion of waste minimization and pollution prevention initiatives to support a circular economy
•    Acts as liaison to trade associations to maintain awareness of regulatory climate 


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Chemistry, Biology (or related major) from an ABET accredited college or university.   

Experience Required: 
•    A minimum of 3 years work experience in the environmental discipline; chemical industry preferred.
•    Strong interpersonal communication, and math skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office.
•    Ability to perform work indoors and outdoors. Work may involve climbing, working in congested areas, and working around chemical process equipment.
