DESCRIPTION

  • Develop daily schedule for the Saflex Interlayers, ALS and XIR encapsulate products within SAP.
  • Communicate to Customer Service Representatives and Planners the status and availability of all material requests.
  • Define and implement site and global logistics process and cost improvement projects.
  • Execute the business plan inventory targets and administer corrective actions if needed.
  • Utilize SAP system to maintain all planning parameters, review and manage to resolution all exception messages.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts with material availability, capacity availability and order promise data integrity.
  • Manage plant-to-plant raw material/packaging stock transfers & transports and delivery; enter and maintain delivery lines and purchase requisitions for all raw material /packaging replenishments.
  • Interface with all suppliers and business leaders for corrective actions on day-to-day issues, i.e. on-time delivery, quality issues, transportation issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred, Operations Research or Supply Chain Management preferred, and 1-3 years’ experience required. Bachelor's degree considered for candidates with strong experience.
  • APICS, CPIM or CIRM certifications preferred. 
  • Knowledge of MRP II principles and concepts and supply chain processes a requirement.
  • High degree of initiative, ability to achieve results individually and in a team environment, commitment to task and detail orientation, ability to multi-task in a dynamic business environment.
  • Excellent oral, written and computer skills, including strong proficiency in Excel and Word required.
