Supply Chain Analyst
Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Analyst – Global Material Flow, supports the supply planning community in operation and execution of daily supply planning systems and processes. The position reports to the regional Center of Excellence leader providing support to the region, while also working as member of a global team to implement and optimize solutions across multiple supply planning archetypes. Willingness to accommodate working across multiple time zones is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Support:
- Provide daily support to enable team-members executing supply planning processes to accomplish tasks by troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving process and systems issues.
- Serve as a focal point for one or more of the cross-functional business teams / Power Users
- Facilitates close collaboration with IT analysts to effectively resolve issues
New Business Arrangements:
- Support integration of Supply Chain processes for each business including acquired businesses
- Design/Develop/Test– work with the IT and user teams to lay out new processes which meet business objectives utilizing corporate systems and benchmark best practices.
- Maintain process documentation for existing processes
Training:
- Train new users in existing processes and coach best application of supply planning tools and methodologies
- Communicate any and all process changes to end-users to ensure standard processes are understood and used.
Research and Improvements:
- Analyze existing processes for hand-offs, ineffiencies and duplication of effort; recommend and promote system and/or process improvements for suboptimal areas of performance.
- Collaborate with other process owners to insure processes are aligned and meet business process requirements
- Assist as project team member for improvement projects including Integrated Businss Planning (IBP); robotic process automation (RPA); Artificial Intelligence (AI); and order fulfillment in a Salesforce.com operating environment.
- Maintain system integrity by managing IT security for IGSC, testing upgrades/new functionality, establishing new master data such as new plant setup, etc
- Actively participate as subject matter expert to adjacent initiatives and improvement projects as defined.
- Provide backup for Supply Chain Analysts in both home and globally dispersed Centers of Excellence.
- Lead improvement and/or innovation projects as defined via application of LEAN, DMAIC, and/or Agile methodology as appropriate
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or greater from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Degrees: Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ supply planning/global material flow experience preferably in SAP R3 and/or OMPartners platforms.
- Inventory management or supply planning certification from accredited association is a plus (i.e. APICS or ASCM).
- Demonstrated project leadership via application of LEAN, 6 Sigma or Agile methodologies. Related project or change management certification is a plus.
- Experience in Python or other Process Automation toolsets would be a great advantage
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP R3
- Advanced knowledge of Supply Planning and Transport Order systems, processes, and methodologies.
