Job Responsibilities

  • Under general direction, promote awareness of the organization's Ethics & Compliance Program, including through appropriate communication, outreach, training, and other stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Identify regional or local requirements that require departures from Eastman’s global standards and formulate the appropriate strategic and tactical approach to adequately address regional or local requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to assess and drive continuous improvement in the Ethics & Compliance Program.
  • Communicate with reporters, both anonymous and known, to facilitate investigative activities and provide information related to status of an investigation.
  • Perform thorough interviews of team members and third parties, consistent with industry best practices, to gather facts relevant to reported concerns.
  • Efficiently document investigative activities and results to create a record that can be accessed, reviewed, and understood independent of any direct involvement in the investigation.
  • Develop recommendations regarding appropriate disciplinary action and recommend appropriate management actions to address any gaps in policy or process identified as root causes of the concern that was investigated.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments and evolving best practices in the field of ethics and compliance.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

  • Quick learner and agile multi-tasker who demonstrates initiative.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude.

Travel Requirements

Occasional regional travel up to 10%-15% of work time to third party sites, entry/export ports, Eastman facilities, and other business sites.
