We are looking for a dynamic marketing communications professional who has a passion for sustainability.  The role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys the challenge and excitement of being part of a new business. 


Role Description
A marketing communications project manager is responsible for developing and executing detailed marcom project plans based on strategic integrated marketing communications campaigns associated with growth projects or products.  This involves day-to-day management of marketing communications projects including creative and digital campaigns, and tradeshows, to generate qualified opportunities that lead to revenue growth.

Work in partnership with MarCom representatives and managers to develop a good understanding of the strategy, target markets and segments to implement effective marketing communications programs. Develop, monitor, and manage projects and campaigns within approved budget. Has responsibility for project execution and works directly with cross-functional marcom teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution/Implementation
  • Collaborate with senior project manager and/or account reps/managers to understand the IMC plan, goals and objectives
  • Create long- and short-term project plans (based on IMC plans), including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources 
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and goals
  • Open/close jobs and manage timelines in Project Management software, including managing approvals
  • Articulate tasks to be completed by others, and work with those individuals (internal or external) to complete the tasks on time and budget 
  • Prioritize multiple projects and timelines
  • Identify and manage potential liabilities of managing multiple projects
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple resources are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy (i.e. digital, creative, account)
  • Communicate with account team to keep the project aligned with business goals
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed; communicate changes with team


Brand Governance

  • Ensure proper use of Eastman brand, trademarks and logos


Budget Management

  • Manage project budgets to ensure that estimated and/or approved budgets are not exceeded, and that execution is as cost-efficient as possible
  • Review project and budget status with team quarterly; adjust actions as needed 


Team Participation/Contributions

  • Contribute to corporate Marketing Communications Team Key Initiatives to build/develop Eastman capability



Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of marketing or communications B2B2C (or B2C) industry experience preferred.
