The W.G. Krummrich plant (St. Louis), which is a part of Eastman Chemical’s Tire Additives Business, has a job opening for a Site Administrative Assistant.  This is a salary position reporting to the Site Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Run, prepare various reports and measures (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Keep updated organization charts, phone lists, and other site reference documents
  • Create and edit documents, presentations, spreadsheets and charts
  • Manage site’s digital signage
  • Proofread documents for grammar and spelling
  • Record minutes at meetings as requested
  • Provide support to Finance function with report generation, data collection and other tasks
  • Serve as SharePoint administrator and provide management of sites
  • Provide support for ISO / RC controlled document SharePoint site
  • Assist SLT and staff with scheduling various events
  • Assist the SLT with meeting preparations by assembling background information, arranging agenda, and establishing time, location, and attendees list
  • Plan, organize, and obtain food, as requested, for lunch meetings and employee celebrations
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Maintain conference room and conference room schedules
  • Provide some timekeeping support for some site departments
  • Assist in onboarding new employees
  • Assist with travel arrangements as necessary
  • Create purchase requisitions, process invoices and track expenses
  • Support SLT to ensure adequate communication to site team members

 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Required

  • Must be high school graduate or equivalent (prefer someone with associates or bachelor’s degree)
  • Possess a proficient knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Assist with other software applications including SAP, MyLearning Lab, Time Entry
  • Have strong planning and organizational skills
  • Work well with individuals at all levels in the Company
  • Project a positive and professional image when interacting with others
  • Be highly detail-oriented and possess strong proofreading skills
  • Have excellent oral, written, listening and networking communication skills
  • Have excellent PC skills
  • Have excellent follow-through/follow-up skills
  • Take initiative to improve work flow and work processes to make the work more efficient
  • Be capable of prioritizing work effectively and simultaneously meeting multiple deadlines
  • Be proactive in anticipating questions and providing information
  • Be willing to work varied schedules and overtime according to business needs
