Responsibilities
The Customs & Trade Operations plays a pivotal role in managing our international shipments, ensuring compliance with import and export regulations, and maintaining smooth and efficient operations within the global supply chain. This person possesses strong organizational skills, knowledge of international trade regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external partners. Documentation, Compliance & Safety: • Prepare and review all necessary import and export documents, including customs forms, shipping manifests, and certificates of origin. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in international business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in import and export operations, customs compliance, and international trade. Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and tariff classifications. Experience with import and export processes in Brazil and Argentina. Certification in AEO and/or CTPAT standards is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Fluent in both Portuguese and English, with the ability to effectively communicate in both languages. Proficiency in Spanish would be beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements |
