Responsibilities
About the role:
Laboratory Operations Management is accountable for scientific research or quality testing performed in a laboratory environment including: Managing a team of laboratory staff and developing operating procedures to ensure that experiments and analyses are conducted within budgets and according to established scientific standards. Prioritizing and allocating laboratory operations and workflow so that the laboratory equipment and resources are used efficiently and work schedules and targets are met. Researching, evaluating, and recommending investments in technology, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the laboratory's performance. Managing the maintenance, repair, construction, quality, and installation to laboratory equipment.
JOB OBJECTIVE: To lead the quality control laboratory with a continuous improvement approach, ensuring the implementation of the quality management system, the release of products in accordance with internal standards and customer requirements, while actively promoting staff awareness of quality, thus contributing to the achievement of the organization's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the quality control laboratory.
- Ensure the execution of tests and analyses according to established processes and instructions.
- Evaluate and validate analytical and sampling methods.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Train laboratory staff on quality procedures and regulations.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems (ISO, GMP, IATF).
- Conduct internal audits and prepare compliance reports.
- Analyze statistical data for continuous process improvement and decision-making.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- University degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related fields.
- Quality master's degree (desirable).
- Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of quality regulations and industry standards (IATF).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and process improvement.
- Knowledge of measurement systems (MSA).
- Intermediate level of English (minimum).
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in personnel management.
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biology, Pharmacy, or related fields.
- Quality master's degree (desirable).
