Role Description

In this role, you will define and manage market segment strategies that drive profitable growth for our prioritized Naia™ segments. You’ll bring these strategies to life through clear, actionable market execution plans. Leading a passionate, global cross-functional team—including sales, technology, product and pricing, and marketing communications—you will collaborate to ensure success. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, and you’ll play a key role in advancing our commitment to sustainability and circularity, helping us build a better future while delivering exceptional business results.

 

Primary accountabilities include:

  • Financial performance: revenue, gross margin, and earnings for responsible segments
  • Innovation: vitality index which is measured from sales from new products and applications as percentage of total sales
  • Growth: healthy growth project portfolio measured by launch effectiveness (year 2 revenue vs gate 5 target); Gate 5 launches (measured by projected year 2 revenue); new business from market development and innovation.
  • Capabilities building/ talent management: attracting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team and continually strengthening marketing capabilities in individuals and the organization, contributing to succession planning and development activities, supporting talent initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Global Marketing Director and key stakeholders (market development, sales, technology, MarCom) to develop and execute market segment strategies.
  • Maintain and update the addressable market map and manage the segment’s cross-functional team to optimize existing offers.
  • Recommend initiatives through an annual segment plan, focusing on variable margin improvements across orders, customers, market segments, applications, and geographies. Monitor results and advise on resource adjustments.
  • Lead the development of multi-generational plans with cross-functional input to achieve long-term market share targets.
  • Support the SBU Leadership team in driving product strategy and business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports within the marketing team.
  • Build a strong network and establish yourself as a thought leader within assigned segments.

Qualifications

  • Strong business and marketing acumen with 10-12 years of experience in commercial, marketing, or market-focused roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or textiles, with commercial experience in B2B2C business models.
  • Deep understanding of the textiles industry and value chain, with proven ability to influence and drive behavior change at textile brands.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, multitask, and communicate effectively.
  • Global commercial experience preferred, especially in Asia.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
