Performance Films Business Organization:

The Eastman Performance Films (PF) division is the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of aftermarket performance films for automotive and architectural applications and provider of advanced film component solutions for solar and electronic technologies. Global production and sourcing come from our Martinsville, VA (the largest PET film plant in the world) and Dresden, Germany locations. 

 

The role:

Responsible for the development and execution of Marcom and Digital strategies for assigned market segments for the Performance Films business in EMEA. This involves the development of strategic marketing communication plans and ideation of creative (digital) campaigns. Execution of these plans generates qualified opportunities that lead to revenue growth. You will work in partnership with regional Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain, Customer Services and Technical Services to develop a good understanding of the targeted segments in the market in order to design and implement effective marketing communications and digital marketing programs. You develop, monitor, and manage projects and campaigns within approved budget, and you have ownership of and accountability for multiple segments/platform engagement strategies. Occasional travel is expected across the EMEA region.

 

Responsibilities:

Marketing Communications

  • Plan, develop and execute campaigns which may include trade shows, product launch kits/direct mailing, seminars, instore materials, print advertising etc.
  • Research, write, design, and edit sales collateral (such as brochures, catalogues, sales scripts) that is effective and appropriate for the intended audience. Arrange for this material to be economically published and distributed
  • Liaise with external vendors and agencies (for example event organizers, graphic designers, advertising agencies, media outlets) to ensure that their work meets the organization's requirements, deadlines, and budget
  • Contributes to market sensing due to interaction with lead generation funnel
  • Generates insights from observations on consumer behavior and preferences at point of sales based on research and customer discovery
  • Manages consistency and clarity of brand messages across brands and across territories 
  • Evaluates post-launch execution effectiveness and results; continuously improves activities and outcomes in collaboration with Marketing and Sales

 
Digital Marketing

  • Responsible for digital marketing activities in EMEA, primarily focusing on social media management (Facebook and Instagram), leads & campaigns tracking, website maintenance and email marketing
  • Be first point of contact for the project team at our digital agency of record
  • Coordinate projects with our corporate IT organization to define priorities and resource allocation

 
Marketing Operations

  • Responsible for day-to-day marketing operations, including budget management
  • Sharing best practices with global marketing teams

 
Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree discipline required
  • 3-5 years’ prior experience in commercial, marketing or relevant technical roles
  • Used to work with graphic design and event management agencies
  • Background in digital marketing and ability to translate business strategies into measurable objectives
  • Experience with social media community management, content management systems and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • German language is required
