PF Tech Service Quality Engineer, China
Job Description
- Routine warehouse quality inspection
- Provide internal quality expertise for all incoming quality inspections
- Address quality issues field complaints from customers’ feedback
- Work with Tech Service team to coordinate and effectively manage customer quality engagements and dispositions in China
- Effectively manage communication with key stakeholders including customers (distributors, 4S groups, Auto OEMs, key 4S stores) , AD, Product and manufacturing teams
- Identify and communicate customer claims process improvement opportunities and work across the organization to implement
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure sufficient resources and staffing available to conduct quality inspections in warehouse
- Travel to customer sites as required to inspect material and make recommendation on path forward and quick resolution
- Communicate fitness-for-use requirements from customer to manufacturing
- Respond and report quality issues commensurate with level of quality complaint
- Use working knowledge of inspection techniques to determine most accurate method of comparing measurements of film performance and specification
- Compare measurements, form, fit, function and value judgments of simple and complex performance, specifications and general workmanship standards using documents, experience and knowledge of inspection techniques.
- Provide quality related training to internal team and customers (distributors, Auto OEM, 4S groups/key stores etc.)
- Assist in ensuring proper calibration of equipment and measuring instruments
Requirements
- Three years or above related quality management experience preferred.
- Passionate to win, result oriented, willing to embrace ambiguity and strong learning agility, Persistent in achieving results
- Proficient in Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Proven capability to work effectively across teams
- Location in Shanghai
