Laboratory Technician
Responsibilities
• Actively participate in safety meetings and inspections and promote a Zero Incident Safety Culture and Lab 5S standards throughout daily operations.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve routine test procedures for a wide range of analytical techniques, including GC, GC-MS, GPC, HPLC, DSC, TGA, Rheometer, FTIR, FTIR Microscopy, optical microscopy, titrations, SEM, and XRF.
• Prepare samples and reference standards for analysis across multiple analytical platforms, including SEM, XRF, FTIR Microscopy, GC, GC-MS, HPLC, and GPC.
• Ensure all laboratory instruments are routinely calibrated and verified to maintain data accuracy and measurement repeatability.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation using instrument software and deliver accurate and reliable analytical results to support the Asia Pacific Technology Organization.
• Maintain adequate inventory of chemicals and consumables and manage procurement to ensure continuous and efficient laboratory operations.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related science discipline is required.
• Candidates with 1 to 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience are preferred; however, motivated fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
