Jr. Digital Product Architect

Job Responsibilities:

• Defining and guiding the implementation of the data architecture of digital products
• Comfortable with doing the work (code) and high-level architecture guidance
• Strong communication skill with local and offshore business/technical resources
• Comfortable with leading discussions and choices for product success with cross-functional teams
• Willing to delegate work and coordinate work with remote resource outside China
• Defining long term and short-term strategy for internal and external reporting
• Helping business to understand data to make business decisions (predictive modelling)

Preferred Skillset

• 4+ years of experience data movement, transformation, reporting and analytics
• Expertise in handling complex data transformations and manipulations
• Willingness to build business acumen and linkage to digital solutions
• Ability to seek out new ways of solving unique problems
• Great interpersonal, team and communication skills
• Committed to high quality, efficient, and sustainable product development practices
• Training and mentoring experience – it’s good to be an expert, it’s great to create more around you

Technical Experience

• Strong experience with manipulating and transforming data with SQL-based platforms such as Azure SQL DB, SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS, Alteryx, Data Factory, Glue, MS Fabric
• Experience with self-service data visualization platform (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
• Basic understanding of use cases for advanced analytics languages such as Python/R
• Familiarity with working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
• Proficiency with Agile work management software and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, Trello, ServiceNow)
• Experience in a Kanban or Scrum-based agile environment
