Responsibilities
Eastman’s chemical manufacturing plant in Pace, Florida is located in the western Florida Panhandle. The Maintenance Technologist is a new position reporting to the site’s Maintenance Manager. This position will help drive operational excellence through maintenance project management, data analysis, SAP expertise, and creation of an information management structure for the Maintenance organization. It is an exempt individual contributor position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Project management for Maintenance projects
- Evaluate cost alternatives
- Schedule, coordinate and communicate assigned projects
- Forecasting of spare parts
- Power BI/SAP expertise. Will be expected to train team on enhancing SAP skills.
- Operations Transformation
- Learn the basis of the program and develop expertise.
- Track and drive improvement in work execution, reliability, and turnaround execution
- Document/Information Management
- Develop maintenance document management structure/network and procedures
- Organize, train and monitor
- Procedure creation, verifications, and updates
- Maintenance Budget Support
- Help analyze budget to improve transparency and details. Will not create the budget.
- Budget tracking
- Incident Investigation (Root Cause Analysis)
- Back-up Maintenance Planning responsibility
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years' manufacturing plant experience in operations or maintenance preferred
- 3+ years’ experience with project management preferred
- Experience with manufacturing reliability
- SAP experience
- Power BI experience preferred
Education
- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Project management certification or coursework preferred
