Responsibilities


This position has primary responsibility for maintaining documentation, supporting work processes, and completing project work within the Engineering organization of a chemical manufacturing plant.  This is considered a part-time role and is expected to work an average of 24 hours per week.

•    Comply 100% with Safety, Environmental and Health performance
•    Manage document updates associated with the Management of Change (MOC) process and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) process.  These work processes include formatting and uploading procedures and technical documents.
•    Maintain and administer the Engineering SharePoint site.
•    Assist the Engineering group in handling vendor submittals (drawings, test records, manuals, etc.) throughout the procurement process
•    Maintain document control/filing systems management which includes drawings, equipment, SIF, and PSV files. Also maintain hard copies or scanned images of plant Process Hazards Analyses (PHAs).
•    Assist Engineering throughout the capital project process.  This includes the maintenance of project files, minutes, design documents, process descriptions, PFDs, P&IDs, etc.
•    As related to capital projects, retrieve data from SAP (purchase orders, equipment info, etc.) to put into Eastman’s document management system.
•    Update and/or create new engineering specifications/standards
•    Maintain archived documents which may involve scanning and electronic filing
•    Assist Engineering in handling/filing/issuing of construction documents to engineering contractors and construction contractors.  This includes initial packages for bid and construction, as well as “bulletins” or revisions, which are subsequently issued during construction
•    Organize existing plant documents into the document management system and ensure new documents are properly located
•    CAD revisions (minor)
•    Ensure conformance to company standards and processes
•    Support contractor orientation training as needed

High School Diploma or Equivalent
