Summer Job - Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher  


Taminco Finland Oy is a subsidiary of Eastman Chemical Company based in Oulu, Finland. The Oulu site was established in 1952 and Eastman acquired it in 2014 from Kemira plc. The key products produced are formic acid & derivates and formamide. The products are found in various applications in industries such as food, leather, rubber, textile, chemical additives, pharma and in plastic and silage additives. 

 

We have a temporary full-time vacancy for CSR / Dispatcher summertime substitution in our Delivery Office in Oulu. Starting at the end of May.  

 

Role Purpose

Arranging transportation to end-destination as per schedule. Creating needed documents for the delivery and communicating order related information to stakeholders. 

 

Key Tasks

•    Managing order-delivery process
•    Delivery notes creation
•    Booking local transports
•    Transport document preparation
•    Customer service for drivers visiting the Delivery Office
•    Communication with CSR’s, transport companies, forwarding agents, sales and production
•    Mastering SAP to make deliveries progress
•    Managing disturbances in the delivery process


Responsibilities    

•    Plan and book local transport for own deliveries
•    Ensure timely availability of needed documents
•    Ensure PGI is done timely
•    Manage the Order to Cash process for one domestic customer
•    Prompt, adequate and proper communication regarding supply chain issues
•    Proactively Inform Logistics Planner in case of issues, and take action whenever needed to avoid shipment delays and other issues
•    Support production planner by communicating actively order quantities and loading dates to ensure material availability on time
 

Required Qualifications & Experience

•    Commercial / logistics education
•    Language skills: Finnish and English
•    SAP knowledge is seen as an advantage
•    Organizational and co-operative skills
•    Strong communication skills
•    Problem solving skills
•    Service orientation, flexibility, pressure tolerance
•    Managing various things simultaneously
•    Commitment to Eastman safety regulations
