Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Partner will bring expertise of trends associated with the business/function to actively partner with managers to ensure the best talent decisions based on desired competencies and capabilities. The Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with leadership and HR Business Partners to create and execute a comprehensive talent strategy that aligns to the business strategy as well as attract top talent to achieve immediate and long-term business objectives.
The Talent Acquisition Partner manages all areas of the strategic talent acquisition lifecycle: from strategy development to on boarding. Proactive recruiting using data analytics, building talent communities externally and within Eastman, identifying top passive and active talent, assessing them for organizational fit, and presenting them for consideration are important responsibilities of the position.
Primary Responsibilities
•    Understand vision and business objectives as it relates to Talent Acquisition, while influencing and executing recruiting strategies to support the external talent needs of the company
•    Build a broad talent network through methods such as referrals, University Relations, passive candidate sourcing, etc. 
•    Spend time with stakeholders to fully understand the business, the key talent needs, and the value proposition for prospective candidates. This includes maintaining relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs

•    Understand external talent availability and talent challenges that exist in the markets that supply customer organizations. Utilize this knowledge to design recruiting strategies that efficiently generate top quality candidates
•    Identify, evaluate, and deploy measures to refine and redesign Talent Acquisition strategies and processes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s recruiting efforts, as well as the candidate experience
•    Manage and coordinate appropriate communications with candidates during the interview and hiring process
•    Assist with efforts to improve the attraction and hiring of candidates in support of Eastman’s Diversity Initiatives
•    Ensure sites are in compliance with federal, state and local labor laws including EEO reporting and Affirmative Action Plans, as well as internal audits.




Education and Experience

  •     5 plus years of end-to-end recruiting experience required 
  •     Exceptional consultative skills with the desire to understand the needs of each client then formulate and execute the strategy to meet those needs
  •     Ability to quickly forge strong, influential business relationships both internally and externally
  •     Thorough knowledge of/experience recruiting for professional roles; knowledge and expertise in internet data mining, professional networking, passive candidate        cold calling, and innovative sourcing techniques.
  •     A versatile “special-projects” orientation coupled with confirmed multi-tasking abilities
  •     Excellent written and verbal communication
  •     Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  •     Attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
  •     Experience with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Boolean searching
  •     Bachelor's degree preferred
