Eastman Chemical Company is currently searching for a Warehouse Associate Lead for our Performance Films distribution center located in Mississauga, Ontario.

The Warehouse Associate Lead will interface with the Sales Department and Will-Call customers, and will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders and various warehouse duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage/ Assign daily tasks for WA
  • Rotating day to day schedules in whse (who is staying late for UPS, lunches, etc)
  • Prioritize order shipments by expedited shipping, order size and shipping urgency.
    •  Ensure all orders are shipped daily.
    • Communicate shipping conflicts with management so that the customer base has minimal impact. 
  • Determining cut off time/ order prioritization and communicating those needs to Office Manager
  • Execute Replenishment Orders and communicate needs to Office Manager
  • Execute Box/supply order
  • Notifying and working with Office Manager in SAP if inventory levels are wrong causing stock outages
  • New hire onboarding for Warehouse Associates (in conjunction with Office Manager)
  • Enforcing safety guidelines and notifying management of any concerns
  • Assist with cycle counting, monthly inventory count, etc.
  • Oversee calibration of machinery on routine schedule
  • Identifying/assisting machine repairs
  • Backup to Office Manager as required
  • Review errors and identify cause/ solution
  • Communicate SNCI observations to Office Manager
  • Coach/ train Warehouse Associates on processes




  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety, proactively working safely and protecting the environment. 
  • Be able to accept and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Must work overtime as needed. 
  • Must be able to understand and retain training on cutting / plotting / shipping equipment, policies and checklists. 
  • Must be able to effectively interpret and apply training in performance of the job. 
  • Must be able to lift and push. 
  • Must be able to operate hand scanners, stapler machine, plotting machinery, machinery to cut film, strapping machine, pallet jacks, electrical pallet jacks and various motorized warehouse equipment. 
  • Must be able to use and understand documents such as SOPs, JSAs, PJHAs, Process Procedures, etc. 
  • Must be capable of handling stressful emergency situations and do complex troubleshooting and then take timely corrective action.
