Job Summary
LOCATION: Mexico City – office based
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Partner to join our LA Regional HR Team. In this role, you will be responsible for high-volume administrative and operational recruitment at the 2 of the 4 main Eastman sites in Latin America, including Mexico City Office and the Santo Toríbio Plant. Collaborating closely with the local HR partners and hiring managers, you will facilitate a smooth and efficient recruiting process, while supporting the full requisition lifecycle for high-volume roles. Your role will be pivotal in attracting and hiring external talent to support Eastman's corporate growth journey.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain proactive relationships with HR partners and Manufacturing managers to align immediate needs with long-term workforce needs and business priorities. Partner closely with HR partners to maintain ongoing alignment on current and anticipated requisition needs, ensuring shared visibility, proactive workforce planning, and coordinated talent acquisition efforts. Own end to end recruitment lifecycle to deliver an excellent candidate experience from intake and assessment through offer negotiation and onboarding handoff while ensuring timely, professional communication. Lead Operations talent strategy: define role requirements and interview plans with hiring managers, design targeted sourcing plans, develop talent pipelines for current and future needs, and deploy advanced search techniques when needed (i.e. LinkedIn Boolean searching). Ensure a consistent and equitable selection process through structured assessment practices at all aspects of the hiring process, from initial resume review until final interview. Coach and influence hiring managers on structured, equitable and legally defensible hiring practices to drive high-quality, evidence-based decisions and a positive candidate experience to secure top talent and reduce turnover. Drive continuous improvement of sourcing, selection, and recruiting workflows by leveraging data to monitor funnel health and KPIs, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Research, propose, and lead projects that optimize recruitment processes and outcomes. Ensure compliance and data integrity: post roles in accordance with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements; maintain accurate ATS records; safeguard confidentiality and data privacy. Stay current on employment laws, policies, and best practices to mitigate risk. Coordinate recruiting events and proactively promote employer brand to attract high quality candidates. Facilitate recruiting processes, including screening candidates, sharing resumes with hiring managers and scheduling interviews, candidate travel and site visits to ensure a positive candidate experience. Using established rate schedules, extend offers to candidates and initiate onboarding process upon acceptance. Adjudicate background checks and partner with TA specialist to manage onboarding process for new hires. Partner closely with HR and TA specialists to coordinate background checks, offer execution, onboarding logistics and cross functional activities that enable successful new hire integration and onboarding. Coordinate University Relations (UR) work as needed. Partner with the business to align on UR strategy, including but not limited to volumes, schools, internship assignments, and the like. Execute thorough and compliant university relations hiring, including executing full life cycle recruitment, supporting campus teams, managing requisitions, coaching campus recruiting teams, coordinating events for students during their internships, and leading orientation |
