Integrated Distribution Resource Planner
Responsibilities
Job Overview:
The Distribution Resource Planner is responsible for balancing demand, supply, and inventory, particularly for materials imported across intercompany channels. This role requires coordination with various departments and stakeholders to ensure optimal inventory levels, timely deliveries, and efficient resource utilization. The planner actively partners with business units, including Sales, Demand, Product, Pricing, Quality, Logistics, Customers Service, Manufacturing and Supply Planning teams. This position reports functionally to the Supply Chain Manager and collaborates closely with global planning teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Execution:
- Develop and maintain a 3-6-month rolling distribution plan to ensure product availability.
- Execute key analytics aligned with the supply processes to balance demand and supply.
- Resolve product availability conflicts to meet customer delivery dates.
- Collaborate with international trade and logistics teams to manage import processes.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
- Conduct regular safety stock calculations and review inventory policies based on market trends.
- Lead the disposition of aging, slow-moving, and blocked inventories to optimize turnover.
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations for third-party and consignment warehouse
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Communicate with customer service, sales, product management, pricing management, and demand management teams to align on demand projections, new products, and address supply issues.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and manage KPIs related to inventory management (e.g., total value, days inventory outstanding, days of inventory on hand, inventory heath) and customer service levels (OTIF: On Time In Full and OTCC: On Time Customer Commitment).
- Master data:
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of material mater data SAP and OMP systems for efficient planning outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (CoE) team to adopt best practices in process and planning tools.
- Lead projects to support business continuity and growth, involving cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
•3-5 years of experience in supply planning or a similar role.
•Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
•Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus
