Demand Generation Project Manager

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee demand generation projects from intake through completion, ensuring timelines, milestones, deliverables, and project goals are clearly defined and met.

Serve as the primary project manager for a wide range of demand generation initiatives, with a focus on digital marketing and marketing automation projects.
•
Own and maintain digital marketing project boards in Asana, ensuring tasks are accurately created, assigned, prioritized, updated, and tracked through completion.
•
Monitor emerging AI capabilities and optimization opportunities within project management, pilot relevant tools and approaches, and share recommendations and best practices with team members to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and project execution.
•
Partner with digital marketing, content, creative, web, marketing automation, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate project execution and keep work moving efficiently.
•
Align with stakeholders to clarify project scope, gather requirements, identify dependencies, and help remove roadblocks that could delay progress.
•
Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status meetings, and follow-up communications to ensure all contributors remain aligned on next steps, deadlines, and expectations.
•
Develop and manage project timelines, workback schedules, and execution plans for demand generation campaigns and related digital marketing initiatives.
•
Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and resourcing challenges, escalating as needed to keep projects on track.
•
Collaborate closely with marketing automation and digital marketing team members to support campaign launches, nurture programs, lead generation efforts, and related operational initiatives.
•
Work with other project managers across the organization to coordinate overlapping needs, manage shared resources, and ensure consistency in project planning and execution.
•
Support prioritization of incoming demand generation requests and help organize work across the team based on business needs, timelines, and available resources.
•
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and team leadership, communicating progress, risks, decisions, and action items clearly and effectively.
•
Help improve project management processes, workflows, and team collaboration practices to support efficient execution and continuous improvement.
•
Maintain documentation related to project scope, timelines, responsibilities, approvals, and key decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
•
Approximately 3–5 years of experience in project management, digital marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations, preferably in a B2B environment.
•
Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing projects from initiation through execution and delivery.
•
Strong understanding of digital marketing workflows, campaign execution, and marketing automation processes.
•
Experience using Asana or similar project management tools to manage boards, timelines, dependencies, and team workflows.
•
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
•
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to keep teams aligned and projects moving forward.
•
Demonstrated ability to identify risks, solve problems proactively, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
•
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, creative, content, web, operations, and external partners.
•
Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage complexity across multiple workstreams.
•
Demonstrated curiosity and interest in the evolving use of AI-assisted platforms, with a willingness to learn, adopt, and help support future AI-enabled tools and processes.
•
Fluency in English required.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience supporting demand generation or integrated marketing campaigns in a complex or matrixed organization.
•
Agile project management experience required; Agile certifications are a plus.
•
Experience working with or alongside other project managers in a shared services or enterprise marketing environment.
•
Understanding of lead generation strategy, campaign operations, and digital marketing execution best practices.
•
Enterprise or agency experience preferred.
•
AI teammate agent management a plus.
