The Role

 

We are seeking a self-motivated Treasury Analyst to join our Luxembourg team. This is a great opportunity to manage and support the growth of the business in Europe, Middle-East and Asia Pacific. Work with a motivated team in a Multi-National Company and get first-hand experience setting-up and managing its In-House Bank encompassing the intercompany loan portfolio, payment- and collection center, cash management operations and intercompany settling operations.

Responsibilities

 

Actively support the strategic development of the In-House Bank and the Company’s Treasury Operations in coordination and collaboration with the Manager, Treasury Operations, and Treasury Manager.

 

Cash management operations responsibilities include:

 

  • Understand account activities, and use knowledge to reconcile prior day forecasts
  • Analyze bank fees
  • Utilize technology including treasury workstation software KYRIBA, FX All, SAP, and banking portals to improve operational efficiency, with a focus on cost effectiveness
  • Prepare and/or release wire and in-house cash transfers, interfacing with accounting, treasury, human resources and accounts payables
  • Investigate returned payments and bank errors and management banking service cases
  • Support requests for data, including audit and compliance reporting

 

Other Treasury Operations Responsibilities include:

 

  • Document Treasury related processes & controls and identify and implement best practices
  • Ad hoc treasury projects: working closely with the In-House Bank team on process automation and efficiency enhancements

 

Qualifications

 

You are a pro-active, detail-oriented and independent professional. You understand the importance of compliance. You have a positive and can-do attitude and proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects. You enjoy working in a small international team in a start-up setting, yet part of a large MNC.

You enjoy working in Treasury and have a continuous improvement- and learning mindset. Your analytical skills and financial acumen enable you to assess the impact of business and regulatory changes fast and evaluate the effect of the changes in Treasury needs.

You have excellent communication skills, fluent in English both written and spoken.

 

This is what you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in Cash Management (preferred), Corporate Treasury, FP&A, Banking or similar field – in a multinational corporate environment
  • Familiarity with cash management and banking with large multinational banks
  • Strong proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with SAP’s Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), In-House Cash (IHC) modules and KYRIBA is a plus
