Transportation Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Documentation Management: Prepare, process, and distribute daily shipment documentation for all inbound and outbound services, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and other requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work in a team environment, communicating with contractors, tenants, operating areas, and core team members to complete job duties.
- Responsibilities may vary depending on assignment location (rail or trucks):
Trucks: Create and process inbound/outbound paperwork for all deliveries. Coordinate with Logistics to ensure deliveries are met. Responsible for accurate weight entry for multiple departments, coordination of plant moves, and ensuring all deliveries comply with DOT regulations.
Rail: Assign railcars to meet both internal and external customer needs while maximizing the utilization of the Texas Operations (TXO)-based railcar fleet. Prepare daily switch lists for in-plant railcar movements and outbound shipments. - Work Schedule: Work rotating eight- and ten-hour shifts that cover seven days a week, including occasional overtime.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Initiative and effective `use of time and resources
- Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and meet deadlines
- Patient, pleasant, and service-oriented
- Team player willing to assist others during downtime
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Willingness to work rotating eight- and ten-hour schedules, including weekends and occasional overtime
- Respect for confidentiality of personal and sensitive information
