Job Description:

The TXO Stores Operations Team Manager position is an exempt, day position with general availability expected outside of normal business hours including on-call responsibilities. This position has responsibility for Storeroom/Receiving/Samples and MSO Shipping/Auxiliary Warehouse/Delivery/Central Toolroom, Rail and Truck Scale as well as Fuel Station Operations. This includes but is not limited to leading and developing employees, promoting a safe working environment, overseeing on-site supplier/contractor relationships, managing budgets, facilitating audits, release reporting, as well as identifying and implementing new efficiency and innovation ideas.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, motivate, develop, and lead Indirect Material Stores and Receiving Teams
  • Encourage working safely and participation in department safety program
  • Prioritize time in the field with team members
  • Manage Storeroom/Receiving operations (Compliance + Meeting Customer Demands, 24/7/365)
  • Manage the shipments of Samples and Misc. Shipping Orders (MSO)
  • Manage the storage and distribution of direct materials from Auxiliary warehouse
  • Manage the delivery of indirect and direct materials
  • Manage central tool-room
  • Manage rail and truck scale
  • Manage fuel inventory, distribution and maintenance oversite
  • Manage cost center budgets
  • Approve invoices for associated services, maintenance, and materials
  • Facilitate audits both internal and external
  • Manage of temporary and LSE labor
  • Interact with on-site suppliers/contractors
  • Communicate with internal customers, on-site, and outside suppliers/contractors addressing concerns and promoting collaboration and efficiency
  • Identifying and implementing efficient improvement projects
  • Annual interaction with internal/external auditors
  • Monitor inventory management and other productivity measures
  • Review requests for new inventory items
  • Initiate and respond to release reporting
  • Lead and support managing mini outages (campaigns)
  • Lead and support any winterization efforts including materials stocking

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a High School education or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to work days or rotating shift schedules and unusual hours as needed
  • Must have at least 5 years of related work experience
  • Effectively plans and organizes own work and the work of others
  • Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
      

Qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining and improving safety policies and practices
  • Management experience of a team of 10 people or more preferred 
  • Maintenance warehouse or warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with the following software packages:
    • Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Power BI experience preferred
    • SAP experience preferred
