Responsibilities
This position reports to the Director, Asset Integrity, Reliability, & Plant Protection Services. In this role, you will lead a group of Business Support professionals who support the data and administrative solutions needs within the Plant Services Division. The responsibilities of this position include managing the Data and Administrative Solutions Group, supporting the design, implementation, improvement, and maintenance of data and administrative solutions within the Plant Services Division.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following):
- Lead and manage a team of Business Support professionals, providing technical guidance, mentoring, collaboration, support and performance feedback.
- Oversee the design, implementation, improvement, and maintenance of data and administrative solution scope of work by the team across all phases of the work.
- Establish goals, training, and development opportunities for direct reports in a manner that aligns with site/company vision. Mentor and develop emerging talent. Coach for outcomes and recognize/reinforce high performance. Lead the annual performance management process for the team.
- Drive cross functional interaction between the Data and Administrative Solutions team and the PSD groups they support to ensure consistent, best-in-class project delivery
- Provide guidance to team members on their work to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Monitor team member performance on key project performance indicators, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Ensure process documentation of job tasks are continually updated to ensure accurate and consistent job task processes
- Provide adequate training for each team function to ensure accurate and consistent job task processes
- Engage formally or informally with others with similar job functions to ensure Eastman tools & procedures are up to date with the industry
- Continuously review procedures related to this team’s job responsibilities to ensure compliance
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of a Data and Administrative Solutions team members. Identify need for staffing changes based on team member workload and division needs.
- Anticipate company changes and technical changes with impact to your team; recommend innovative solutions

- Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in data and administrative solutions and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the organization.
- Serve as a member of the department leadership team. Reporting on group and department KPIs, assist in the development and application of department policies and procedures, and cascade communications from leadership.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development among the team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a safe working environment. Perform duties in a manner that emphasizes personal and process safety. Promptly report Safety, Health or Environmental incidents or issues to management.
- Actively participate on improvement teams, projects, and safety programs as well as follow and uphold the Eastman Team principles.
- Perform special projects as identified or as assigned.
- Communicate up and down the chain of command using strong interpersonal skills and understanding of the right level of content/detail for various audiences.
- Maintain time keeping and approvals for non-exempt employees.
- Other management duties as business needs dictate
Qualifications
- College Degree or applicable experience preferred.
- Experience/knowledge of data and administrative solutions
- Skilled in direction, personnel administration and training of technical and nontechnical personnel
- Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems
- Knowledge of administrative processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience
- Knowledge of current technical applications to use to provide effective and efficient administrative support to customers
- Demonstrated expertise in delivery, communication and training processes and procedures
- Advanced proficiency/knowledge with the applicable software applications (i.e., Microsoft excel, SharePoint, Automation and Power BI) to provide support to your team and customers is preferred
- Accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while managing priorities
- The ability to effectively communicate and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting complex project proposals and reports to senior level management
- The ability to maintain confidential information
- Prior direct supervisory experience is preferred
