Responsibilities
The Project Readiness & Turnover Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful transition of project data from the construction phase to operations and maintenance. This person will be responsible for collecting, organizing, validating, and delivering all necessary data and documentation to stakeholders, ensuring that the information meets the required standards and is readily accessible for future use.
• Will collaborate with core discipline specific team members to ensure drawings, technical specifications, equipment manuals, etc. are provided to applicable EMN repository such that a smooth and successful commissioning and start-up are enabled for Operations and Maintenance teams
• Collect and verify project data, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, equipment manuals, and other critical documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Work with the project team and Eastman’s internal partner teams to organize and maintain a structured database or interface with data management systems for project data, ensuring easy retrieval and consistent data formats
• Perform quality checks on the data and documentation provided by contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the handover process, providing guidance on data requirements and standards
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive data handover packages, including as-built documentation, asset data, and other necessary information for operational readiness
• Support the integration of data into existing asset management and maintenance systems, ensuring seamless transition and data accessibility
• Ensure all data and documentation adhere to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data management and handover procedures, recommending and implementing changes as necessary
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, engineering, or a related role within capital projects
• Ability to provide leadership in project delivery & execution
• Strong collaboration skills
• Understands Management of Change processes and can apply them appropriately for data handover management.
• Proficiency in data management tools, databases, and software; familiarity with CAD, BIM, and other engineering tools; strong understanding of asset management systems
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Any relevant certifications, e.g., PMP, data management certifications
• Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to data and document management in capital projects
• Razor sharp organizational and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with project data delivery in the chemical, petrochemical, or refining industries
• Knowledge of ProjectWise and/or Coreworx platforms
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives and data analytics
