Responsibilities

 

The Production Specialist in the Oxo Products Department is responsible for the production, inventory, utility and cost records for Aldehyde Reduction.

 

  • Responsible for production and accounting for multiple areas (must be available for end-of-month financial closings which includes weekend &/or overtime shift)
  • Identify, troubleshoot and correct inaccuracies and problems associated with reports and data.  Must work closely with staff engineers to troubleshoot production report discrepancies. 
  • Process transport orders, shipments and receipts in SAP
  • Assist with Corporate Physical Inventory Audit. Maintain accurate inventories and reconcile to SAP.  Work with departments on material transfers and inventory issues.  
  • Process samples for multiple areas
  • Purchase requisitions for lab, raw materials, tooling and equipment and repair services
  • Accurately and timely record time exceptions in SAP
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role required
  • Strong computer skills with a background in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • SAP experience required
  • Experience supporting manufacturing preferred
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Adaptable to change
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to aniticpate and identify customer needs 
  • Ability to successfully multi-task a variety of jobs and changing of priorities
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and procedures
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed
