Preventative Maintenance, Maintenance Support Mechanic
Responsibilities

- Manage precise movements by coordinating eyes, hands, and fingers.
- Adjust and service mechanical equipment and determine parts needed for repair.
- Perform specialized machinist/assembly repairs when necessary.
- Detect faulty equipment through inspection and testing.
- Conduct troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
- Work from blueprints, written specifications, and oral instructions.
- Utilize testing and measurement equipment effectively.
- Use computers for accessing information, completing training, and data input.
- Follow all safety and company policies.
- Be available for overtime, alternate schedules, and rotating shifts as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of the TXO Maintenance Support Mechanic Apprenticeship Program within the specified time.
- Completion of Level 1 Machinery Lubrication Technician certification within 24 months of the start date.
- Must obtain TXO fork truck certification/permit from Eastman Chemical Company.
