Job Summary

 

We are seeking a highly experienced Talent Acquisition Partner who specializes in hiring engineering talent in support of capital project development and execution. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and selecting top engineering professionals to join our organization. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the engineering industry, a proven track record of successfully hiring engineering talent, and exceptional relationship-building skills. They will also have experience building and developing recruitment strategies targeting top engineering and operations talent.

Responsibilities

 

•    Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand the talent needs for large-scale projects in the capital world, particularly in engineering and construction.
•    Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and engage top engineering talent for project teams.
•    Provide extensive oversight and guidance to contractor teams involved in the recruitment process, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with project goals.
•    Utilize a phased approach to hiring, targeting team members with specialized skills at each level of the project's development and ramp-up.
•    Lead and connect contractor groups across the team to foster collaboration and ensure a cohesive recruitment effort.
•    Leverage a well-established network across the Oil & Gas, industrial manufacturing, chemicals manufacturing, and contracting industries to identify and engage top talent.
•    Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Gulf Coast region to tap into local talent networks and engage with key industry players.
•    Apply expertise in recruiting talent from contracting companies and effectively manage contractor relationships throughout their lifecycle.
•    Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to talent acquisition for large projects in the capital world.
•    Provide oversight and strategic guidance related to the recruitment and pipeline development of Operations, Maintenance, and other non-exempt team members.
•    Utilize change management and influence to drive outcomes and impact decision making. 
 

Qualifications

 

•    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on large-scale projects in the capital world, particularly in engineering and construction, including in-house recruitment experience.
•    Experience working in other Human Resources departments (client services, talent management, etc.) preferred
•    Proven track record of successfully recruiting for projects in the capital world, demonstrating expertise in managing recruitment for complex projects.
•    Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute recruitment strategies to meet project timelines and staffing requirements.
•    Extensive experience providing oversight and guidance to contractor teams involved in the recruitment process.
•    In-depth knowledge of the engineering and construction population required for project development and ramp-up, with the ability to strategically target team members with specialized skills at each level.
•    Demonstrated leadership skills in leading and connecting contractor groups to foster collaboration and ensure a cohesive recruitment effort.
•    Well-networked across the Oil & Gas, industrial manufacturing, chemicals manufacturing, and contracting industries, with established relationships and connections.
•    Familiarity with the Gulf Coast region, including knowledge of the local talent market, industry dynamics, and networking opportunities.
•    Ability to effectively recruit talent from contracting companies and manage contractor relationships throughout their lifecycle.
•    Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to talent acquisition for large projects in the capital world.
•    Strong data analysis skills and experience
•    Experience recruiting non-exempt operations and mechanical team members and building strategic pipelines and community engagement accordingly.
