Drawing Administrator

Responsibilities
Responsible for digitizing, organizing, maintaining, and controlling Engineering drawings. This role ensures high quality scanned images, accurate indexing, version control,
secure storage and timely distribution to stakeholders. Supports project teams by maintaining auditable document control system (ProjectWise) that meets company, regulatory
and quality assurance requirement. Creates drawing records, scans images of drawings and places drawings in Projectwise including vendor drawings, piping spools and other requested
drawings and link all in Assetview. These final documents require scanning into a CIT format and using CAD software to place an Eastman border and adding pertinent drawing information in the border before uploading it as a DGN file into ProjectWise with appropriate security.
Support admin group functions like monthly fire extinguisher inspections, vehicle maintenance and engineering permit issue packages.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or above
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with CAD software
- Strong working knowledge of MS Windows based personal computers including software, hardware, and programming.
- Basic understanding of networking infrastructure, hardware, and MS Windows security.
- Desire and initiative to learn new computer systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to customer focus.
- Ability to manage and execute work on a set schedule with limited supervision.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze, diagnose, and resolve problems.
- Must be a safe worker and have a demonstrated history of adhering to Eastman Basic Safety Expectations
Preferred additional qualifications:
- Experience with CAD or other Drawing software
- Experience with Engineering Issue Packages
- Skills desired
- Responsible, dependable, willing to make decisions, and takes ownership of special assignments
- Able to multitask and exhibit productive work habits
- Good organization skills
- Able to interact cooperatively and constructively with end users, peers, subject matter experts in various levels of management.
