Responsibilities
The Division Business Support Specialist serves as a resource for the Chemicals Manufacturing Division (CMD). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing administrative support for CMD, perform inventory management ,maintain utility reports and cost records, and back up for Production Specialist and all Division administrative functions. In this role, your coordination, organization, customer service, accuracy and relationship building skills will be essential to the overall success of the organization.
- Submit purchase requisitions for raw materials, lab and office supplies
- Serve as SharePoint site administrator
- Manage procedures, including filing
- Prepare onboarding documentation for new operators and schedule required training
- Production / Accounting and Division Resource Assistant responsibilities:
- Identify, troubleshoot and correct inaccuracies and problems associated with reports and data. Partner closely with staff engineers to trouble shoot production report discrepancies.
- Provide backup support for production reporting responsibilities; prepare timely production reports on a daily and monthly basis to include posting into SAP.
- Utilize exceptional computer skills to improve quality and efficiency of existing and new processes
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company rules and policies
- Responsible for Division communications and radio checks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably supporting manufacturing or operations, is required
- Strong computer skills with a background in Microsoft Office Suite required
- SAP &/or Sharepoint experience preferred
- Agreeable, professional, helpful, and pleasant attitude
- High attention to detail
- High level of initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service values and performance
- Ability to successfully multi-task a variety of jobs and changing of priorities
