The Treasury Analyst position offers exposure and interaction with various aspects of the Company’s Cash Management and Treasury Operations processes.  The role requires daily decision-making and facilitation of the Company’s North America cash management process including administering the Company’s commercial paper program and setting the daily USD cash position.  The role also provides exposure to OUS cash management processes and interaction with the OUS Treasury team located in Luxemburg and OUS accounting teams.  The analyst works very closely with Treasury Operations Management and Accounting to satisfy daily funding needs and meet desired cash and free cash flow targets as well as completing corporate cash reporting.  This role requires daily interaction with external banking partners and dealers.  The Treasury Analyst reports to the Americas Cash Manager within Global Treasury Operations.  

 

How you'll help us innovate to build a better world


•    Perform Daily Positioning for North America Bank Accounts, Debt Facilities and Short-term Investments
•    Commercial Paper program management including Commercial Paper issuance daily decision and reporting.
•    Maintain target cash balance and daily liquidity for North American bank account structure.
•    Optimize cash deployment to minimize interest expense. 
•    Provide daily cash position update and analysis to Cash Management team.
•    Maintain a forecast of cash position and free cash flow, FCF 
•    Coordinate with Cash Flow Analyst to align monthly forecast of FCF and provide estimate of ending cash position and FCF to Treasury management
•    Provide updates as requested to Treasury management on daily cash, debt position and FCF estimate. 
•    Provide payment processing support
•    Provide review/approval for Cash Management Specialist daily wire payment process in Treasury Management Software and bank portals.
•    Coordinate with Cash Management Specialist to execute intercompany, I/C, wire transfer requests and inter-bank transfers(funding) for daily payments.
•    Coordinate with Cash Management Specialist to handle all inquiries, returned wires, same-day wire requests and corrections to submitted wire requests. 
•    Serve as primary backup for Cash Management Specialist role
•    Cover daily responsibilities of Cash Management Specialist in addition to Cash Management Analyst role during all absences of Cash Management Specialist including reconciliation of all daily activity and payment processing.
•    Perform ad hoc analysis
•    Complete analysis for any large non-routine cash events
•    Complete analysis supporting decision making of funding needs and cash management enabling desired month-end targets
•    Coordinates and manages the Global Letter of Credit program

•    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA a plus
•    2+ years of financial analysis experience preferred
