Technical Service Representative (Part-Time)

Responsibilities
This is a part-time Technical Service Representative position. Work schedules will vary depending on customer trialing and expectations, which will likely average to around 20 hours per week. Flexibility is required.
- Promote customer trials and evaluations
- Understand the customer’s demands and challenges.
- Help develop technical information for customer engagement
- Knowledgeable about industry relevant secondary operations
- Partner with Product Development team to deliver products that a market needs and that will bring value to Eastman
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Technology and Quality Assurance, to develop and implement technical strategies and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in feed technology, and share relevant information with internal teams and customers.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback and market insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Provide technical content to product presentations, leaflets and brochures to support sales and create papers and posters for technical forums.
- Act as a technical advisor to the sales team, and assist with customer inquiries, product positioning, and market development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry associations.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- 10 years’ experience in extrusion, particularly in biodegradable materials.
- Proficiency with extrusion, injection molding, and other conversion technologies, particularly related to biodegradable materials.
- >50% travel while working (part-time).
- Knowledge of markets and convertors associated with biodegradable food service.
