Responsibilities
The Asset Integrity Engineering Team Leader is a Corporate-level role supporting multiple sites on their journey to improved asset integrity through asset integrity assessments and comprehensive equipment inspections. In this role, you’ll have significant input in shaping Eastman’s strategic asset integrity roadmap.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervises technical staff, providing global asset integrity support for Eastman. Plans and directs the work of subordinates.
- Responsible for tactical implementation of asset integrity practices and inspections as well as the resources associated with these functions.
- Refines data-driven metrics that indicate the health of asset integrity program and inspections
- Prioritizes workload relative to established risk-ranking methodologies.
- Benchmarks and networks with other industry leaders in Asset Integrity.
- Conveys current performance, vision, and improvement needs to stakeholders and higher level management.
- Assures that work performed follows generally stated objectives and is completed on time and within budget.
- Ensures that work is carried out in accordance with necessary health and safety regulations.
- Sets priorities for and coaches team members to meet objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a BS in Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience within asset integrity, compliance, and/or reliability in the chemical, petrochemical, or a related industry.
- Must have previous management experience.
- Excellent leadership and change management skills with the ability to positively influence change.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple objectives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
