Description

As a key member of the Talent Management team, the Talent Management Advisor plays a crucial part in developing and implementing talent management strategies that align with our organizational goals, particularly in the areas of Organizational Effectiveness and Organizational Development. The ideal candidate will drive initiates to enhance organizational capacity, align talent strategies with business goals, and foster a high-performance culture. This role requires a deep understanding of change management, workforce planning, performance optimization, and other Organizational Effectiveness and Organizational Development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders, talent management team members, and human resources business partners to assess organizational health, identify development needs, and design tailored OD interventions.
  • Lead and design the execution of organizational structures, roles, and governance models that support business strategy and growth.
  • Assess and enhance organizational effectiveness through data-driven insights, employee feedback, and industry best practices. 
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve organizational effectiveness, including process improvements, culture transformation, workforce planning, succession planning,  change management initiatives, and talent mobility aligned with organizational needs.
  • Facilitate leadership alignment and development by providing insights on organizational dynamics and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, learning and development, and other talent functions to ensure integrate talent solutions.
  • Monitor key organizational health metrics and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Conduct organizational diagnostics using surveys, interviews, and data analysis to evaluate effectiveness and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align talent practices with business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of OD and OE initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in talent management, OD, and OE.
  • Support HR in workforce planning, competency modeling, and performance management processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD in Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Design, or Human Resources preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in talent management, human resources, or a related field is required; alternatively, candidates may also qualify if they are recent graduates of a PhD program in Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Design, Human Resources, or a comparable discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of OD theories, change management methodologies, and organizational assessment tools, with the proven ability to translate into actionable business strategies.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex organizational challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and HR analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

This position in office based in Kingsport, TN.
