Job Summary
LOCATION: LONGVIEW, TX
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Global Talent Acquisition organization, ensuring accurate and efficient HR processes. Collaborating closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and third-party vendors, you will facilitate a smooth recruiting process and support the entire requisition lifecycle. Your role will be pivotal in attracting and hiring external talent to support Eastman's corporate growth journey.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support for the Global Talent Acquisition organization.
• Coordinate and execute HR processes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
• Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
• Handle confidential and personal information with the utmost discretion and integrity, maintaining data privacy and security.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Medical, Security, Employee Benefits, EEO, Payroll, Systems, HR Service Center, and hiring departments, to ensure seamless onboarding of new hires.
• Facilitate recruiting processes, including scheduling interviews, site visits, and related activities, to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Organize, coordinate and attend recruiting events, such as company presentations, career fairs, interviews, and receptions, to attract top talent.
• Utilize various systems to execute talent-related functions effectively, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
• Accurately enter requisitions and track candidates throughout the pre-hiring process, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Anticipate questions and provide information and documents related to talent acquisition and HR processes, ensuring clarity and transparency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment policies, practices, and procedures to address inquiries in the absence of the Talent Acquisition Representative.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or other related field is preferred
OR
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition or other business administrative role.
Skills and Capabilities:
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with all levels of management, employee groups, and candidates.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, proactivity, and a strong sense of ownership.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
• Familiarity with Talent Acquisition systems, such as ATS and background check systems, to navigate and utilize technology effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work product, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Familiarity with SAP and ATS systems is recommended but not required.
• Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
