Coatings and Inks Sustainability Manager
As Eastman Chemical Company continuous its strategic pivot to circular economy leader, there is a need for a Sustainability Manager in Coatings and Inks.  Reporting to the Global Product Director, the Coatings and Inks Sustainability Manager is responsible for developing and driving the Sustainability Strategy for Coatings and Inks. This position supports Coatings and Inks Market and Product teams in building sustainability capabilities globally.

Core responsibilities:
•    Develop the go to market strategy for sustainability for Coatings and Inks.
•    Work with corporate sustainability teams to develop collateral and training for the global Coatings and Inks commercial teams.
•    Work with product/pricing teams to develop pricing strategy/objectives and targets for specific technologies and product lines.
•    Connect Eastman Carbon footprint vision to Coatings and Inks.
•    Coordinate Strategic Communications and customer engagements with key/strategic customers.
•    Map/document key sustainability personnel in the coatings market and with our key customer accounts.
o    Assist as workload allows to lead sustainability projects within key market segment teams.
o    Track and manage sustainability project portfolio for Coatings and Inks.
o    Track and manage key activities and engagements with customers across the business.
o    Develop “How to Guide” to work with customers to drive engagements with customers from Discovery to project development.
o    As needed, the Sustainability Manager will also provide support to the other sustainability projects within Coatings and Inks.
o    Develop database for recycle content and LCA data for the organization.
o    Work with Segment Market teams to build out segment sustainability strategies.
o    Connect with other business Sustainability Managers and network key learnings and synergies.

Qualification profile:
•    Bachelor’s degree preferably in chemistry or chemical engineering but not required.  Minimum of 3 years’ work experience/commercial experience preferred.
•    Understanding of the Sustainability field and a passion for the subject matter.
•    Has acted in one or more of the following: customer or industry facing roles including but not limited to sustainability, advocacy, public policy, sales, marketing, technical service.
