As a Stream Finance Manager supporting the polyester stream and Specialty Plastics business, you will be providing leadership on choices and decisions that will define the future for Eastman.  This role supports the business management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best decisions. Ideal candidates will have strong financial acumen and excellent communication skills.
 
 
Responsibilities

  • Provide decision support to Specialty Plastics business teams through complex financial modeling typically related to large integrated capital investment scenarios.
  • Work closely with management to identify supply/capacity short and long-term constraints
  • Provide financial analysis and support for both short- and long-term product prioritization choices on constrained assets
  • Identify areas for asset optimization to maximize profitability and improve working capital for a given stream and related downstream products
  • Work cross functionally with business partners to drive completion of the long-term strategic quantification for the Specialty Plastics business and related asset investment strategy
  • Prepare and present capital investment returns on projects to facilitate business, executive and/or board approval
  • Perform post completion assessment of large capital investments
  • Support completion of board of director presentations and materials related to large capital investments
     

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related degree
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience required
  • Discounted cash flow modeling and other analysis techniques
  • Foundational accounting 
  • Synthesis of inputs into clear recommendations and defensible positions
  • Basic project leadership and facilitation skills
  • Ability to develop trust-based relationships
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of key systems/tools is a plus (SAP, Office, etc.)
