Job Summary

Eastman is seeking a skilled social media community manager with a passion for building our brand presence on social media and leveraging performance-driven metrics to enhance our brand experience. As the social media community manager, you will leverage a mix of strategic skills and creative thinking with a focus on creating high performing content for our B2B audiences. This involves developing creative concepts and compelling content in partnership with internal teams, managing the brand’s presence across multiple platforms and geographies in a cohesive way, and engaging positively with users on behalf of the brand. This role will leverage data-driven decision-making to best position content, tell compelling stories and use real-time insights to achieve appropriate audience engagement, reach and growth. This requires close collaboration with global marketing teams, cross-functional stakeholders and creativity to ensure a cohesive and effective expression of the brand across all digital touchpoints. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall brand, goals, vision and objectives.

• Define and socialize the brand’s unique value proposition, positioning, and differentiation on social media.

• Create channel strategies and content calendars that will serve as the foundation for how we manage and maintain each channel.

• Define key performance metrics (KPIs) and other metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media strategy, assess brand health and continuously optimize strategy as needed.

• Manage content intake processes and organize information in social editorial calendars to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.

• Manage community engagement by posting, monitoring, responding to and participating in social conversations at a regular cadence. Develop playbooks for community engagement.

• Run effective paid social campaigns for lead generations, meeting niche needs of hard-to-reach audiences.

• Partner with marketing, marcom, and brand team members to create compelling content for social platforms including developing strong creative briefs and growing deep partnerships with key team members to ensure creative executions are on brand.

• Partner with other social media community managers across the company to create a more cohesive story for Eastman.

• Liaise with the social media governance team to support corporate social initiatives and governance for the full portfolio while primarily driving content for corporate channels.

• Keep up to date with social media trends, analytics, conversations, functions, algorithms, new channels and content forms to identify opportunities and ensure the brand stays relevant in a dynamic market.

• Monitor and report on cross-channel engagement, ensuring social media efforts support and amplify the organization’s omnichannel strategy.

• Serve as a thought leader for AI-driven automation for community management to enhance responsiveness and engagement longer term.

 

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

 

• Proven experience in managing both owned and paid social media efforts for large companies. B2B experience is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms including best practices, trends, platform requirements, and algorithms.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions around what is effective in driving business results and meeting KPIs.

• Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, and adapt based on data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.

• Ability to apply brand standards to social media campaigns and executions.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Entrepreneurial, deadline-driven, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field required.

 

Experience

 

• Minimum of 3 years of social media experience

• Agency experience is a plus.

• Proficient in Sprout and/or Asana
